Golomt Bank has partnered with AI Academy Asia to support the National AI Campaign, a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening AI education in Mongolia and equipping teachers with future-ready skills.
Launched in 2025, the campaign aims to train 2,500 AI educators over five years. The program is designed to provide teachers in general education schools nationwide with the knowledge and practical skills needed to integrate artificial intelligence into teaching and learning. Within this framework, 500 AI educators are trained each year. The 2026 training program was successfully implemented with the support of Golomt Bank.
The AI Educators Training Program received strong interest nationwide, with 3,998 applications submitted by teachers from both urban and rural areas. A total of 796 teachers were selected to participate, exceeding the initial target of 500 participants.
Launched on February 28, 2026, the three-month program focused on strengthening participants’ foundational understanding of artificial intelligence, improving their ability to apply AI technologies in educational settings, and enhancing teaching quality through AI-powered tools. The training also covered professional development, classroom innovation, practical applications, lesson planning, workload optimization, and approaches to addressing student learning gaps.
In addition, Golomt Bank provided financial literacy training sessions for the participants. Upon completion of the program, teachers presented AI-driven projects developed during the training, with outstanding projects recognized for excellence.

Through this partnership, the program successfully trained 500 AI educators in 2026. These educators are expected to teach foundational AI concepts and promote responsible and ethical AI use to more than 20,000 students each year.

L. Enkh-Amgalan, Minister of Education
The Government of Mongolia is implementing policies to ensure that every child has equal access to quality education and opportunities to develop essential skills. As the global focus increasingly shifts toward skills-based education, artificial intelligence is becoming an important tool for advancing both knowledge and competencies. Expanding this transformation nationwide has the potential to bring meaningful progress to Mongolia’s education sector.
Now in its second year, the nationwide program has equipped 500 participating teachers with essential skills in the effective use of artificial intelligence, lesson planning, workload optimization, and strategies for addressing student learning gaps. These educators are now well positioned to deliver high-quality, future-focused education and contribute to the development of globally competitive learners.
Teachers who completed the program will begin teaching AI-related subjects in schools nationwide starting in September 2026, expanding access to AI education across both urban and rural secondary schools. This initiative marks an important step toward strengthening Mongolia’s education system, accelerating digital transformation, and ensuring that young people remain competitive in an increasingly technology-driven world.
