Golomt Bank jointly organized the “Mongolia Investment Forum: London 2025” held at the London Stock Exchange – a major platform that connected international investors with Mongolia’s economic and financial opportunities. The Bank continues to place strong emphasis on investor relations, consistently organizing and supporting initiatives that deliver timely and meaningful insights about Mongolia’s economy and banking sector to the global investment community.
Earlier this year, in April 2025, Golomt Bank co-organized the “Mongolia Investment Forum: New York 2025”, introducing U.S. investors to Mongolia’s economic trends, financial landscape, and emerging opportunities.
Following this success, the bank has now co-hosted the “Mongolia Investment Forum: London 2025” at the London Stock Exchange (LSE). The event brought together prominent figures including Mongolia’s Deputy Prime Minister T.Dorjkhand, the British Ambassador to Mongolia Fiona Blyth, Mongolia’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom B. Enkhsukh, LSE Deputy CEO Charlie Walker, representatives from the Mongolian Stock Exchange, BNY Mellon Bank, A&O Shearman, and Golomt Bank’s CEO A.Odonbaatar.
The forum opened with welcoming remarks by Charlie Walker, Deputy CEO of the London Stock Exchange, who emphasized the event’s importance in strengthening cooperation between Mongolia and the UK. The keynote address was delivered by Deputy Prime Minister T.Dorjkhand, highlighting Mongolia’s ongoing energy sector reforms and the vast potential for investment in this field.
A dynamic panel discussion titled “From Mongolia to the United Kingdom: New Investment Opportunities” was moderated by Ayuna Nechaeva, Head of Europe Primary Markets of London Stock Exchange. The panel featured A. Odonbaatar, CEO of Golomt Bank; Geoff Yu, EMEA Market Strategist at BNY Mellon; and James Roe, Partner at A&O Shearman. They discussed the evolving investment landscape of Mongolia and potential avenues for collaboration between Mongolian and British financial institutions.
Additionally, E.Batkhorloo, Golomt Bank’s Head of Investor Relations presented an overview of the Bank’s growing presence in international capital markets and its sustained business growth, underscoring Golomt Bank’s role as a leading Mongolian institution trusted by global investors.
The “Mongolia Investment Forum: London 2025” was held in one of the London Stock Exchange’s premier halls with a capacity of 120 guests, drawing over 130 participants from the investment community. The event made a significant contribution to promoting Mongolia’s investment climate and enhancing international investor confidence in the country’s financial and economic prospects.
