Norihiko Kato, CEO of Golomt Bank and Z.Batbayar, the Head of Water Agency of Mongolia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the 29th of March, 2024. Within the framework of the MoU two parties will collaborate on:
- Strengthening the implementation of laws on water;
- Increasing access to clean water and sanitation under the Sustainable development goals #6;
- Strengthening water recycling, water re-use, and improve water management of the private sector;
- Measuring positive impacts;
- Highlighting best practices to raise awareness
As a result of the cooperation, two parties will be able to increase water supply, decrease water pollution and showcase good case studies for the future of Mongolia.
