Opening Ceremony of the “AI for Women 100×100” Program successfully held with Golomt Bank


Golomt Bank, one of Mongolia’s leading financial institutions and a pioneer in digital transformation, continues to fulfill its social responsibility by supporting initiatives that promote equal access to technology and education. In partnership with AI Academy Asia, the Bank is sponsoring the “AI for Women 100×100” program, and the official opening ceremony of the initiative was successfully held. The event was attended by A.Odonbaatar, CEO of Golomt Bank, M.Sainbileg, Chief Information Officer; and B.Bolor-Erdene, Founder and CEO of AI Academy Asia.

The “AI for Women 100×100” program is designed to:

  • Encourage women’s participation in the technology and innovation sectors,Reduce gender inequality,
  • Expand access to quality education in remote areas, ensuring that girls and female teachers are not left behind in the rapid development of artificial intelligence, and can become leaders in the field.

Registration opened on September 1, attracting more than 2,000 applicants nationwide, with 44% from rural regions and 56% from the capital. From these, 100 female students and 100 teachers were selected. Participants include high school girls aged 13-18, as well as teachers specializing in mathematics, IT, foreign languages, natural sciences, and social sciences.

The nine-week program will culminate with participants presenting their own AI-based capstone projects. Following completion, students will join community initiatives such as “Girls Code,” while teachers will have opportunities to continue collaborating with AI Academy Asia.
